You undertake manage marine costal and inland waterway surveys, or offshore positioning of offshore construction/ offshore wind farm vessels

This includes:

• preparation and planning
• installation of modern survey equipment
• calibration & verification
• data collecting & daily field reporting
• processing & provisional final field reporting
• You provide support for other (ongoing operations)
• You give advise or instructions on geophysical / hydrographic mattzrs
• You make sure Vessel safety procedures are known and followed
• You make sure that all operations are carried out in a safe way

What do we expect from you?

• degree in survey related discipline, hydrography and geology.
• a first experience in surveying for national charting purposes
• good knowledge skills for data processing and interpretation of relevant data
• use of QPS QINSY
• good knowledge skills of modern survey methods and equipment basic safety training (STCW95 is a plus)
• driving license
• flexible work attitude, ability to work as part of a team
• positive team spirit
• methodical, flexible with excellent attention to details
