Keynote lectures

Two keynote lectures will be given by Prof. dr. Antonis Kotsonas (New York University) and Prof. dr. Angelos Chaniotis (Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton).

  • Antonis Kotsonas: Borders, Territories, and Archaeological Regions in Ancient Crete
  • Angelos Chanioitis: Borders in post-Classical Crete: Contested, Disputed, Redrawn

Venue

The 'Borders in first millennium BC Crete' workshop will take place in Athens, on the premises of the Italian School at Athens (SAIA) on 20 January 2023 and on the premises of the Belgian School at Athens (EBSA) on 21 January 2023.
