Financial compensation
ISG is a non-profit organisation and does not receive subsidies from the Flemish government. Financing for all operational costs is therefore covered by income from tuition fees.
Ghent University is one of the founding members of ISG and we realise that the annual school fee (2022-2023) of €14,500 - 15,500 per child is a big expense for most families.
Ghent University therefore offers the possibility to submit an application for financial support. Please note that there is always a minimum charge to the parent(s)/guardian(s): €900 admission fee (per family, one-time) and at least 25% of the tuition fee. The following profiles are eligible:
- foreign ZAP members appointed or nominated by Ghent University and foreign IOF mandate holder
- foreign postdocs and scientific staff
Compensation is not guaranteed – the final decision will be communicated after examination of the application. The level of support provided by Ghent University may vary per application.
