Arne Huyst


Arne HuystArne did his Master thesis on the production of biosurfactants by fermentation methods and graduated in 2018 as a bio science engineer. Thereafter, he made a shift from production towards application of surfactants by joining the PaInT group as a PhD student. Nowadays, he works on the interfacial properties of protein fibrillar structures towards food application within the framework of the ProFibFun (Protein Fibril Functionality) project. This project is in cooperation with KULeuven and is mainly focussed on egg white protein and wheat gluten.
