Bio

I had a bachelor degree in environmental engineering which mainly focuses on lab work and studying wastewater treatment systems. After that, I worked as an environmental researcher in Minh TuVietnam Institute of Meteorology, Hydrology and Environment; sometimes I worked as a project secretary for a subproject of Poverty and Environment Project (PEP) which more related to public communications, social index constructions, organizations of training and workshop related to environment – poverty issues. In 2010, I obtained   the MSc in Water Resources Engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. My master thesis focused on the impact of climate change on a basin in Vietnam. From 2011, I am working as a doctoral student at the Laboratory of Hydrology and Water Management at Ghent University. My current research focuses on stochastic rainfall models, copula, climate change, water balance and hydrological extreme events.
